Virtual Round Table on the General Situation in Tunisia: Prospects and Challenges

 

The Maghreb Institute for Sustainable Development organized a virtual roundtable on March 3, 2024, regarding the general situation in Tunisia: “Prospects and Challenges.”

The roundtable was chaired by the Institute’s President, Mr. Adnan Al-Hassnawi, and its aim was to encourage young people to seek knowledge and equip themselves with critical and objective thinking when addressing issues that directly or indirectly affect their future. Various matters concerning the general conditions in Tunisia were discussed through the presentation and discussion of the following books and studies:

  1. “The Unfinished Revolution: Providing Better Opportunities and Jobs and Greater Wealth for All Tunisians,” published by the World Bank Group.

  2. “Blocked Transition: Corruption and Regionalism in Tunisia,” published by the International Crisis Group.

  3. The book “Internal Colonialism and Unequal Development” by author and engineer Al-Saghir Al-Salhi.
