The Maghreb Institute for Sustainable Development (IMDED) works to combat the influence of violent extremist groups in the Douar Hicher district by mobilizing efforts to promote youth participation in peaceful struggle for the consolidation of democracy.
Douar Hicher is a marginalized area that suffers from serious economic and social problems, including high unemployment rates, low youth participation in the political process, and a lack of infrastructure.
Through achieving these objectives, we aim to create positive change in the local community and reduce the ability of terrorist groups to recruit individuals.
